A solid background in Piano from the age of 5 then later convincing my parents I wanted to play the guitar at 13. I soon began to record as much as I could experimenting with different sounds on my 4 track. Later after being in and out of a number of rock bands I started hanging out with studio people learning as much as I could. This led me to the first studio I built in 1992 on Salt Spring Island BC. This is where I started getting interested in using a computer to make music. The music demos I recorded led me to learn from one of LA's greatest engineers who was working at the Record Plant at that time. Fortunately for me he took an interest in my music and further inspired my interest in computers and music. I took some time to recharge and get a new studio together with current gear. After that was done I started working with video people, scoring this new music I was making into their productions. The response was great. It was time to do my own thing and record my own Album and stop working for other people! I started collecting vocal samples after I heard Moby's albums. This would be great to finally find a genre I could record and not have to worry about my terrible voice! I collected a few more cool instruments and sounds and the work began on Timecode and this brings us up to date to this summer.
